February 28th is the designated "Rare Disease Awareness Day" across the world. The main objective of Rare Disease Day is to raise awareness amongst the general public and decision-makers about rare diseases and their impact on patients' lives. The campaign targets primarily the general public and also seeks to raise awareness amongst policy makers, public authorities, industry representatives, researchers, health professionals and anyone who has a genuine interest in rare disease.

Get your office to sponsor a fundraiser, where they make a donation to the Dup15q Alliance in order to have a "jeans" day at work! By becoming a fundraiser for the Dup15q Alliance, you will help more families affected by Dup15q Syndrome, and you'll help your friends feel good about doing good. The suggested donation is $10
