Joshua Daniel Bennett, 50 of Shenandoah, PA passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026.
While living in York, PA, Josh lived at a group home run by Typical Life Organization before he was moved to Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Shenandoah, PA. He formerly attended Church of the Open Door-West Campus and was an active member of I.D.E.A.S., (now Dup15q Alliance) a support group for individuals with IDIC-15 genetic disorder. He loved his family, music and visiting the beach.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at York Bible Church, 790 Taxville Road, York, PA with the Rev. Dr. David Sutter officiating. A public viewing will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, 2016 Ragged Mountain Road, Clearview, PA 15535 on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Those attending should meet at the cemetery by 10:50 a.m. on Thursday.
