Today, there are almost 1,000 families from around the world affiliated with Dup15q Alliance. Families and individuals with dup15q come from a wide range of backgrounds and are dealing with a variety of day-to-day issues.
The money raised in this campaign will go towards programs to support families affected by Dup15q, and progress science to find life improving medicines for individuals diagnosed with Dup15q. Your money will go towards programs that support siblings of dupers, help families navigating complicated medical and school resources landscape, and provide counseling to loved ones going through their most difficult times.
In 15 days leading up to Giving Tuesday, I’ll be sharing family stories, what Dup15q syndrome is, and the triumphs and struggles dupers go through.
