“I believe that our kids face a world that is too often too loud, too fast, too big, too bright and I’m in awe of the courage they have to step into it every day.” - Mike Porath dad to Annabel (dup15q), Dup15q Alliance Board Member and founder of The Mighty
Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Giving Tuesday. In a fast-paced world, it’s easy to get caught up in the “busy” of life.
Thanksgiving gives us the opportunity to pause and give thanks as we gather together with our friends and families.
Giving Tuesday allows us to take a step back and make a collective (and incredible) impact through this global day of generosity that encourages donating to nonprofits that are focused on the causes that are important to you.
Will you join us on the global day of generosity that empowers all of us to contribute towards building a better world we all Believe in? Our unwavering mission sets the stage for a brighter future: empowering individuals living with Dup15q syndrome to reach their full potential by advancing breakthrough research and life-changing therapeutic treatments while supporting families as they navigate the various parts of their Dup15q journey.
When you make a gift to Dup15q Alliance on Giving Tuesday, you are supporting the focus areas of:
- Research in Dup15q syndrome
- Dup15q syndrome specialty clinics
- Support programs and resources for families
- Education for caregivers and clinicians, and
- Advocacy
Every contribution, no matter how big or small, has grown our ability to support our families and patients as well as helped make significant strides in research.
See a recap of all the GOOD we have made together in our 2023 year in review.
We know that there is still much more work to be done. We can’t do this important work without the generosity of donors who care about creating a brighter tomorrow for families affected by Dup15q syndrome.
