$3,200 goal
We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!
Now that's what I call music... 2000's edition!
We'd like to set a goal of raising over $3200 for the Dup15q Alliance in honor of Elizabeth's recent diagnosis. We've created this nifty portal so you can receive receipts for tax purposes.
On Nov 11th, we will be running a bracket of the 'top 64' songs of the 2000's. Same as the July 90's party.
Any genre goes, just need the music video. Bracket will be randomized. Donations are not necessary for participation, you can still email Nick your submissions directly. That said, song submissions associated with a donation will be prioritized.
Dup15q Alliance is the only US nonprofit organization 100% dedicated to dup15q syndrome. The mission of the Alliance is to empower individuals living with dup15q syndrome and other related rare diseases to reach their full potential by advancing breakthrough research and life-changing therapeutic treatments, supporting families affected by dup15q, and promoting advocacy.
Dup15q Syndrome results from extra genetic material of chromosome 15 and is one of the most common genetic variations associated with autism spectrum disorders and intellectual disability. Individuals with dup15q syndrome usually have hypotonia, cognitive delays, autism, speech/language delays, seizures including infantile spasms, anxiety disorders, sensory disorders, GI issues, and vision delays. Even with all of these complex behavioral and medical issues, our children are sweet, curious, energetic, and live life to its fullest!
