I am running for my son Joseph. My wife and I found out August of 2022 that our son Joe has Dup15q syndrome. It has been difficult adjusting and accepting the challenge that this genetic disorder brings to him as well as to us as parents. He is the most amazing little boy, he has brought so much love into our lives and his happy personality and love for hugs melts anybody that knows him. Because of the Dup15q alliance, we have been able to connect to other families in our area with children that have Dup15q as well as around the world via monthly communication within the organization. It has changed our lives for the better and I want to make sure other families that are affected by Dup15q have access to the organization and its resources whether it be other families to connect with, therapy, conferences, etc. Join in on my journey by donating, as I train for a half marathon, followed by a full marathon, and more!
