Support me in making each mile count and help make a difference, please give today.
I want to make the miles count as I Walk for a Reason. I am walking in honor of Leah and to raise awareness and funds for Dup15q Alliance.
At the moment we don't know what Leah's future looks like, one thing I do know is that I need to get and stay more fit and healthy in order to keep up with her needs. I am pledging to walk or Elliptical (thanks Jon) 15 miles a week to raise funds and awareness for Dup15q Alliance. Jon and I had no idea this syndrome existed and that it could affect our daughter in such a dynamic way.
We are thankful for those of you who have joined us in education and those that have donated to the research!
Getting the word out about dup15q syndrome is a key piece of the Alliance's mission. Their fundraising mission is simple: encourage personal philanthropy that helps underwrite research, potential treatments, and a variety of support opportunities for affected children and their families.
