My daughter Riley was diagnosed with a rare chromosomal disorder called Dup15q back in September. Like most people, I had never heard of this disorder, which is why I think it’s so important to raise awareness and funds to help learn more! So, I’m going to pledge to walk at least 1 mile a day (with riley!) to raise awareness and funds for Dup15q Alliance. Getting the word out about dup15q syndrome is a key piece of the Alliance's mission. Their fundraising mission is simple: encourage personal philanthropy that helps underwrite research, potential treatments, and a variety of support opportunities for affected children and their families.
